𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐎𝐟 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

📖Why are many people afflicted today? People of God affliction comes when we cannot solve other people’s problems but start gossiping on others weaknesses instead of helping them.

📖Apostle Paul says based on the book of Galatians 6:1, we should restore in calmness (in the spirit of gentleness) but today we judge and gossip on our neighbors’ weaknesses. This backfires to us in form of affliction.

📖Rather be quiet than being slanderous and gossiping because this causes many to be afflicted. This is why many Christians are living in sin the more. We attract affliction due to judging people on their weaknesses rather than helping them.

📖Rather than helping your fellow brother, you judge, this shows your character of hatred. This is where the arrow of affliction will hit you the most. Mocking others’ poverty, in the long run, poverty resurface in your life. Mocking others of their sicknesses will lead to the same sickness resurfacing in your life as well. Make mockery of that brother or sister who struggle with lust the same lust will resurface to you in a long run.

📖Confront the challenge of your fellow brother who is living in sin and help them rather than gossiping about it. This is an assignment for restoration of brotherhood for real Christians rather than being slanderous and a gossiper – This is an act of love!

📖We should remember that love covers multitudes of sin. The same grace we received in Christ differentiates us from those of the world.

📖Are you a private or public sinner, how you handle your challenges, struggles, problems will determine the manner in which you will help others.

📖Look deep in your life, and introspect whether the afflictions you are facing today is due to yourself – I mean due to your lack of walking in true love.

📖This message should make you see your wrong. Do not defend yourself but surrender to God’s mercy. Defending yourself shows that the devil has took control over your life. Pray that God changes and touches your life, to remove the foothold and stronghold of Affliction over your life.
