📖Our distraction comes often times because we don’t know how to love ourselves. Our Christianity has been based on doing more for others than for ourselves, this is why people take advantage of us.

📖It is not ungodly to love yourself. Our greatest challenge lies in our inability to love ourselves; this is why you are living a bitter life and a life that is full of offense, hatred because you never learnt how to love yourself.

📖Those who know how to love themselves know how to protect themselves. When you love yourself even when others bring hatred to you, you will not feel the affection because you learnt how to make room for disappointments.

📖Expecting too much from people sets you up for offense and danger. Remember, once our hearts are offended we have already grieved the Holy Spirit.

📖Some of you don’t even have self – love but you are expecting too much from people.

📖We must be careful of the danger of hurting ourselves but in loving yourself you need to be careful of selfishness. Anything that disturbs your soul, disconnect yourself from it.

📖The kind of love that will help you to love yourself, protect and guard your heart. While we are learning to love ourselves let us be careful not to fall into temptation.
